It covers 7285 Oscar nominations and 1484 Oscar awards in major categories for 2962 motion pictures and 4735 individuals. Cuadra Associates, maker of the STAR text management and retrieval system, offers free searching of this database, with permission of Delphi Cinebooks, as a way of demonstrating one of STAR's customized Web interfaces.
