The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films. These films, in various Indian languages, have been widely acclaimed and have won many national and international awards.

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles takes place during the last two weekends of April at a theater in the heart of the film industry. The festival showcases new features, shorts, and documentaries of Indian filmmakers. Call for entries starts October 1, 2002.
